Alex Kievit Elam, founder of Alex Interiors, Inc. has always had a passion for surrounding herself in a comfortable environment. She began her journey studying Interior Design and Architecture at Texas Tech University, obtaining her certification as an NCIDQ registered designer. After working for Wilson Associates, Dallas, and specializing in hospitality design, she transitioned into high-end residential design and textile sales at George Cameron Nash. This experience exposed her to an abundance of talented designers, trades and artists, including Chapman Design. Alex gained invaluable exposure with this award-winning design firm, creating several notable projects that can be seen in Luxe Magazine, House Beautiful, Milieu and many more.

Alex’s mission is simple: Create a personal relationship with her clients to cultivate an aesthetic design that is sophisticated, comfortable and unique. Her fascination in architectural details, clean lines, refined palettes and ability to layer the old with new, enables her to design serene, yet functional spaces. 

Paige Murphy

INTERIOR DESIGNER + PROJECT MANAGER

Paige Murphy studied Interior Design and Architecture with a minor in Personal Financial Planning, graduating with honors from Texas Tech University. After graduation, Paige moved to Houston to work at an esteemed high-end residential design firm. During this time, she cultivated client and industry relationships, as well as developing a love for the operation side of Interior Design. Her meticulous attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills, as well as proficient technical designs knowledge make her a perfect addition to Alex Interiors, Inc.
