Alex Kievit Elam, founder of Alex Interiors, Inc., has always been passionate about creating comfortable, beautiful spaces. She began her journey studying Interior Design and Architecture at Texas Tech University and is a certified NCIDQ registered designer. Her career has spanned hospitality design, high-end residential interiors, and luxury textile sales, giving her broad exposure to the industry’s finest designers, tradespeople, and artisans.

Alex’s mission is simple: to build personal relationships with her clients and craft designs that are sophisticated, comfortable, and uniquely tailored. With a keen eye for architectural detail, a love for clean lines and refined palettes, and a talent for layering old with new, she creates serene, functional environments that feel both timeless and personal.

Paige Branum

SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER + PROJECT MANAGER

Paige Murphy studied Interior Design and Architecture with a minor in Personal Financial Planning, graduating with honors from Texas Tech University. After graduation, Paige moved to Houston to work at an esteemed high-end residential design firm. During this time, she cultivated client and industry relationships, as well as developing a love for the operation side of Interior Design. Her meticulous attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills, as well as proficient technical designs knowledge make her a perfect addition to Alex Interiors, Inc.

Maggie Wallis

JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Maggie is a Junior Interior Designer at Alex Interiors, where she blends her technical background with design expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University, equipping her with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Before joining Alex Interiors, Maggie worked as a Design Consultant at a high-end home goods retailer, creating custom design solutions while driving sales growth. She also gained experience as an Assistant Designer supporting hospitality projects and managing inventories.
Her diverse experience in design, operations, and data analysis makes Maggie a valuable asset to the team at Alex Interiors.
